An oldy but goody! This is one of the first doc’s I made of a local legend and his caravan. It was shortlisted at a few festivals, but never received awards.

Shot on a MiniDV handy cam and using in build mic, before I know anything about Post Producing!

A little embarrassed about how poor it looks and sounds, but I was young and rubbish!

I made this short film following a commission from the MET Police. The film is intended for showing in schools to tackle the growing problem of binge and habitual drinking in young people.

The brief called for 5 things:
> The film in its style, visual language, pace and production, must appeal to young people.
> The film must highlight the criminal repercussions excessive alcohol consumption.
> The film must highlight the medical consequences of alcohol consumption.
> The film highlight the personal dangers of getting drunk
> The film must try and dispel the idea that getting wasted is ‘cool’.

Personally while I like the style and structure of the film, its different elements. The project deadline and budget shrunk from the word go, meaning allot of the work is first draft and could do with allot more polishing.
